Admiral? I'd like to ask a few questions.

First, I'd like to know more about the system here. Are you accountable to anyone else? Is there any process in place to prevent or correct possible errors?

Second, is there any way for inmates to appeal their term here?

Third - I realise I'm not Daro'Xen's Warden, but she has no one else to speak for her. I'd like to know why she's been taken as an Inmate.

I know, and I get that, but... A lot of people who are brought here wouldn't hesitate to kill everyone onboard the moment they got their powers back. And like it or not, if you give it back and people get killed, that's on you.

Honestly, I wish anything about this place was fair.

[She nods.] Yeah. That's why - I understand why we'd need exceptions.

[That gets a grimmer sort of smile.] I was expecting a bit more of that when I came on board, but - I guess we just have to make as much as we can. [That's what she's been doing for two years, isn't it? Fighting to make the world just a little more fair.]

...Ignore me if this is too personal, but - if it's this bad, why have you stayed so long?

You know, I asked the same question when I'd been here a few weeks. I stay because, awful as it is, there's a real chance I can help people here. And given that chance and that opportunity, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't at least try.

Most people aren't. I've made a few different deals, but my reason is always the same. I wouldn't stay if it wasn't worth it.
