[Jean's smile is an odd blend of pride and uncertainty.]
So - Jason graduated. He's going home. [Her voice is warm and fond and a little bit awed; not that he could do it, but that she could help. That he didn't disappear before he made it through.]
That means...well, I need to go home myself, for a while. I need to...see how my deal worked.
[Jean lets out a breath.]
And honestly, I could use a break. I'm not sure how long, but - I will be coming back. I promise you that.

The X-Men at home are my family, but...so are you. [It's the first time she's said it out loud, and her voice wavers a little bit.] I'll be back, and - I love you, okay?
